Rebecka Thor is Swedish writer and art historian based in Berlin. She is a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academy, The Netherlands, where she works on a project on Jewish identity in contemporary art.

During her residency she conducted research in the video archive, looking, foremost, at how Israeli artists address topics of representations, history and commemoration in relation to identity and politics.
