Terms Of Application

In order to submit work to the Video Archive, the Terms of Application must be read and agreed to, which are as follows:

The applicant agrees to the terms of the Video Archive which includes the Video Archive website, and the Mobile Archive, of the Israeli Center for Digital Art. Works in the Video Archive are available for viewing within the Israeli Center for Digital Art Video Archive, and will not be available for rent. Works may be screened for educational (in no case commercial) purposes in the various screenings that are organized throughout the year, however, if there is an expressed desire to exhibit works seen in the Archive, permission must be obtained first by the artist, which the Israeli Center for Digital Art will facilitate. Any other use of the works will require a specific authorization from the artist and in any case will not violate copyrights.

The Video Archive website features a short clip of each work, work description, and artist biography, as part of the researchable database. The Mobile Archive is a sister project of the Archive which travels internationally. At each institution, works are available for viewing, but not for lending. At the end of the project, the works will return to the Israeli Center for Digital Art Video archive, in Holon, Israel, where they will be part of the resident Video Archive, for the same purposes.

The Israeli Center for Digital Art reserves the right to select the works that will be kept in the Video Archive. (However please note that no applications will be returned). No misuse or violation of rights will be done, and no uses other then those stated above will be made without permission of the artists. The Israeli Center for Digital Art Video Archive is not responsible for the loss or damage of articles. Please do not send original copies.
